This is your opportunity to share your thoughts on the draft FNQ Regional Plan 2025 and help shape how your region responds to growth and change.
Consultation is open until 11:59pm Monday 5 January 2026.

- lodging a properly made submission
- attending an online talk-to-a-planner session (1-5 Dec or 8-12 Dec)
- attending an in-person consultation event in the region
- sharing your thoughts on our ideas board below.

The current plan mentions "resilience to natural hazards" but fails to acknowledge the underlying driver of increased risks: climate change.
