Have your say on future transport options for the Southern Gold Coast
The Queensland Government is delivering on its commitment to assess the public transport connectivity options for the southern Gold Coast by conducting a review with community input, so that all routes and all modes can be considered. This includes ensuring the protection of the natural environment and key local areas such as Burleigh Heads Bowls Club, Memorial Park, Tallebudgera Creek and Burleigh Head National Park.
The review focuses on improving connectivity and public transport options for the southern part of the Gold Coast, assessing solutions that are affordable and serve the needs of the local community.
To deliver the best transport outcomes, it is critical to understand the unique needs and wants of the people who live and travel around in this area.
Southern Gold Coast residents are encouraged to have their say in shaping the future of their local area. Your feedback will inform the final review report, alongside a technical analysis of any future transport options. This review is an opportunity for an informed analysis of what the best transport solutions are for this area and the people who live there.
